Dr. Obayemi is a member of the Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestiture Department. He specialises in blue sky Laws, securities, offerings, portfolio strategy, deal structuring, legal, regulatory, and corporate governance matters. He has acted for clients in advisory on redemption of shares, deal structuring, due diligence, separation structuring, bid and negotiation support, capital and financial advisory and shares and asset purchase.

Dr. Obayemi regularly advises on VAT, taxation of petroleum profits and oil & gas transactions, companies income tax, payroll and employment taxes, expatriate tax matters and transfer pricing. He deploys his hands-on experience in clients’ regulatory and cross-border tax instructions and often represents clients in complex tax litigation, tax audits, investigations and inspections, and all manner of tax controversies involving local and foreign entities.
