Professor Joseph Abugu, LL.B, LL.M, Ph.D., is a Professor of Commercial & Industrial Law, Faculty of Law, University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.

He is a specialist in Company Securities and Secured Credit Transactions and has to his credit the publication of the book “Companies Securities: Law and Practice”.

He has consulted in different capacities on several public issues and private placement of securities. He has extensive experience in Corporate and Commercial Law and is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management amongst other professional affiliations.

Professor Abugu is also the editor of the Gravitas Review of Business & Property Law.
